For Businesses
The Okanagan Capital Fund has been created to provide equity for the development of emerging or expanding BC's businesses outside the greater Victoria area and the Vancouver regional district with emphasis on creating shareholder added value.

Eligible businesses under the Act include those that have 75 or fewer employees and a minimum of 75% wages and salaries paid to employees who regularly report to work in BC.

The Fund intends to invest in eligible small businesses involved in manufacturing, research and development, export of BC products or services, tourism, technology, non-traditional agriculture and aqua culture.

Business applicants should submit their application and business plan to Fund management for review and consideration. All applications are held in confidence.

Community Advisory Board

Fund management invites the participation business personalities on a volunteer, mentor and/or contract role to be advisors and/or provide services to companies receiving funding. Such support will be coordinated through Fund management and will be applied
with the joint approval of businesses being funded.

Individuals wishing to be part of the network resource should submit their resume outlining their qualifications and expertise in their respective field(s) of service direct to Fund management.

Okanagan Capital Fund

Okanagan Capital Fund (VCC) Inc. is a registered BC company, created and operated pursuant to the provisions of the BC Small Business Venture Capital Act and Regulations.

At least 80% of the proceeds from investment in the Fund will be invested in equity securities of BC businesses. The Fund’s mandate is to help the expansion and growth of BC businesses, plus provide return to BC investors in the Fund.
